Made from 60.000 slabs of Vals quartzite, the thermal baths Vals designed by architect Peter Zumthor blend in perfectly with the surrounding archaic nature of the Swiss canton Grisons. The spa with attached 5-star luxury hotel - Hotel 7132 - was listed as a historic monument shortly after its construction.
But the thermal bath is not only an architectural masterpiece from the outside- inside there is a unique atmosphere, too: in the corridors, Sento verticale create an invigorating play of light and shadow on the walls. In the suites, the new masterpiece by Occhio is prominently used: Mito sospeso in an individual production crown the generous bathtubs and turn a relaxing bath into a spa experience of a special kind.
Thus, the thermal bath becomes an architectural work of art and every stay an experience for all senses! Pure pleasure - for both the body and the eye.
