The traditional department store »Harrods« is one of the most famous stores in the world. The task of the new lighting solution for the prestigious »Luxury Rooms« expanded in Fall 2012 was to maintain the charm of the historic heritage and reconcile it with modern technology. Functional requirements were extremely important in the choice of lighting system: high flexibility for changing sales room design, protection of the heritage-protected ceiling by using a surface-mounted solution, efficient metal halide halogen as the light source. At the same time the esthetic quality of the lowered Sento faro doppio suspended lamps harmonizes perfectly with the international luxury brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci und Dior.
