Occhio has joined other exquisite brands in creating a place of encounters, inspiration and excellence in the center of Milan’s historical Brera district. In the House of Solferino, creativity meets mindfulness to forge an extraordinary symbiosis comprising interior design and architecture.
Culture meets Zeitgeist
»I am proud to open House of Solferino's doors – a place that welcomes the values of research in interior design and architecture. Excellence and innovation guide our research of companies that share these values.«
Cristina Tizian, CEO House of Solferino.
The showroom is a collaborative project involving selected companies and brands. In addition to luminaires from Occhio and furniture from Walter Knoll, the rooms have been styled by Italian designers like ILVE, 6x6 and 41zero42. The House of Solferino is a place that combines the display and sale of products with events as well as with editorial content to create a true synergy between interior design and culture. The showroom serves the Munich-based company as a center of expertise for light in Milan. Not only can architects and planners experience Occhio’s product portfolio live and in action, they can also discuss their lighting and project planning with experts.
