This three-winged villa in Vienna's 19th district stands out thanks to an architectural peculiarity. As it is built on the grounds of a former garden center the base area is not at ground level:
From the street the building appears to be two storied, the entrance area opens into an inner courtyard with a view of the garden. The various living areas are arranged around the protected pool at ground level. The interior is cozily furnished with warm wood and lots of art and is at the same time very clearly structured.
In the evenings our multifunctional lighting system provides basic lighting and also serves as an architectural design element. Più piano in are inserted into the ceiling to cast beautiful beams of light on the walls and illuminate the owners' many works of arts perfectly.
The Sento sospeso suspended luminaires over the dining table are the only lights which intrude into the room and harmonize perfectly with the Più thanks to their design.

There are many unconventional things in this house:
Interior and exterior merge as the natural stone of the exterior wall follows through inside and large floor-to-ceiling glass facades bring the surrounding garden into the living room.
Division between rooms is thanks to different levels, most of which can be reached over only a few steps, often making it possible to omit walls and providing lots of free space. Large sideboards are skillfully used to divide rooms without any obstructions. So although the rooms flow into each other they are still distinct.
This house consists of a sheer explosion of materials and yet at the same time manages to maintain an almost strict clarity.
The lighting concept adapts perfectly to these contradictions. Discreet Più piano imbedded spotlights are almost invisibly integrated in the ceiling and yet create tension thanks to interlocking light beams and shadows created purposefully.
A Sento terra and a Sento lettura in glossy chrome were chosen for the unusual seating arrangement of leather sofa and red velvet armchairs. They not only match the seating arrangement perfectly they match each other perfectly without breaking the tension by symmetry.Year realized: 2016

This modern building, designed by SoNo arhitekti, captivates with unusual materials, a cosy ambiance and professional lighting design. It consists of two structures of different size with shed roofs that create a fantastic building form. The sophisticated interplay of lines and surfaces, of wood and glass, are surprising from every angle, at every turn.
Visitors are greeted at ground level by a spacious, open ambiance that exudes modern well-being. Wood paneling that extends from the stairway into the upstairs gallery gives the puristic building an atmosphere that is simultaneously warm and refined. Surface-mounted spotlights Più R alto 3d showcase this element particularly well. The ground floor features surface-mounted spotlights Più R alto which illuminate the artwork with softly dispersed light. Recessed spotlights Più R piano in a »seamless« version ensure uniform general lighting and are discreetly integrated in the architecture. One highlight is the double light suspended luminaire Sento sospeso above the dining table. Thanks to its magical height adjustment feature, it can be easily adjusted to fit any table situation. Uplight and downlight can be controlled separately, thereby enabling completely different, fascinating lighting scenarios. »perfect color« LEDs offer the best quality of light with the highest efficiency and promote the sustainable concept of the low-energy house.

KBNK architects took care of the interior design of a 164 m² apartment on the 15th floor of Marco Polo Tower, situated in Hamburg’s HafenCity and built by architect Stefan Behnisch. The organic style of the tower’s silhouette was thereby transferred to a flowing space continuum. The lighting concept emphasizes the line management, Occhio ceiling spotlights of the Più family create an exciting play of light and shadow. With their classic shape and shiny chrome surfaces, the recessed and surface-mounted spotlights blend harmoniously with the interior design. The concept recieved the »AIT – International Luxury Living Application Award«.

This family home made of an ecological timber construction blurs the lines between inside and out. Developed by Deppisch Architects in Freising, the concept draws on the interplay of openness to nature and protected closeness. The upper floor is largely enclosed and seems to float above the garden level. The garden level, in contrast, is a three-sided kitchen and living space flooded by natural light from the glass paned walls. This interplay of blurred boundaries between inside and out continues in the building's interior design: The kitchen counter and built-in shelves extend through the glass to the outside, drawing the interior fittings out to form an outdoor kitchen and wood rack. Consistent with the design, the lighting concept underscores this fusion of interior and exterior space: At first glance, it isn't apparent to the observer whether the line of Occhio Più piano recessed spotlights actually continues to the outside - or whether it's simply a reflection. The interior and lighting concept correspond in another aspect as well: Just as the cabinets and counter are almost invisibly integrated in the wall and railing, the seamless version of the Più piano recessed spotlights are set in a trimless mounting flush with the stacked wood ceiling. These characteristics of Occhio Più piano – its trimless fitting in solid wood while remaining revisable - won over the architects, who have already received multiple honors for their ecological wood construction methods.

Peace, woods and water – this home at Lake Starnberg radiates endless seclusion. The unobtrusive building is perfectly embedded in the environment and ensures the harmonious interplay of architecture and nature. All living areas have large lake-facing windows enabling open views of the still landscape. The interior of this timeless villa is most impressive thanks to open rooms and flowing transitions between the individual furniture islands. Light sliding doors made of wood underline this impression. Occhio spotlights offer the perfect light source for each area of application. Più recessed and surface-mounted spotlights ensure an optimal basic level of light throughout the house. The spotlights can be independently switched to create different lighting scenarios and atmospheres. Più sospeso suspended spotlights provide spotlighting over the dining table and kitchen island, and create a continuous line from one room to the next. »next generation« LEDs in warm light colors ensure excellent quality of light with high efficiency. Excellent quality of light and universality of design and light pattern were the requirements for the lighting concept of this villa, which now towers majestically above the sea after still being an abandoned ruin only two years ago. The lighting design by Occhio was also most convincing as it was possible to save 25% of the luminaires compared with an alternative planning proposal, thus merging the high value demands of the client with energy efficiency. A special focus lay on setting the scene for the natural stone wall in the stair area. A total of more than 87 Più piano and alto spotlights and 22 Sento verticale wall luminaires were distributed over four floors. The light source low voltage halogen ensures a warm, inviting light.

The generous transparent architectural concept of the open rooms continues in the lighting, the light fixtures in all areas have a comprehensive signature, to meet the client's high demands of quality and design. A warm lighting atmosphere and high energy efficiency were paramount in the decision for the lighting systems of Occhio. So most of the rooms were equipped with lamps which use the latest LED technology, of the Più and the io series. The lighting concept was supplemented by standing and table lamps of the io and Divo series, so the house radiates design and lighting quality at all levels.

In this modern architect apartment Occhio LED lamps are mainly used, whose exceptional light quality is most convincing. Thanks to their warm white color temperature (2700 Kelvin) and their high color rendering quality (CRI 95) which is similar to natural light, they create a cosy atmosphere and define different functional areas in the open plan rooms. A special highlight are the Più sospeso suspended lamps in the dining area, with their continuous »fading« function, which enables smooth changes from uplight to downlight.. Another eye-catching feature is the illumination of the reading corner with Più alto 3d ceiling spotlights: the beams of light provide an exciting setting for the minimalist bookshelves.

As a counterpoint to the severely formal architecture the client wanted a particularly warm light, which was achieved with a combination of low voltage and mains voltage halogen. The entire house has ceiling-to-floor glass fronts and so is highly visible from the outside. From there it is already apparent that the comprehensive lighting design creates real added value for the living atmosphere and at the same time meets all lighting requirements. The set back walls in particular are optically highlighted to accentuate the depth of the rooms.

Surrounded by nature, this studio house situated directly at Wörthsee, communicates a feeling of seclusion and peace. The basic idea here was that of intensive dialog between architecture and nature. Large windows enable a direct experience of the landscape – of the lake and the woods. The owner constructed this place of retreat on his property directly next to the heritage-protected family home which dates back to 1929, firstly to create a space for working undisturbed and secondly to provide a private, inspirational atmosphere for talks with business partners. Occhio luminaires provide the perfect light source for each area of application. In the studio on the ground floor Più surface-mounted spotlights are distributed randomly around the room, independently of use. Light reflects from the walls, creating a basic brightness. Mains voltage halogen creates an inviting and warm atmosphere. Mobile reading and table luminaires provide additional light for the work surfaces and reading area on demand. In the basement Più piano recessed spotlights cast the for Occhio typical beams of light on the walls. The work surface in the dining area is intensively and evenly lit by Più alto surface-mounted LED spotlights, Divo suspended luminaires set effective accents above the dining table.
